Safety

Safe blogging should be pretty obvious. I think the most important thing is to remember that ANYONE can read your blog. This means your loved ones, friends, and even the occasional creeper. My mom seeing something bad I say or a creeper getting interested are two bad scenarios. So I'll try to keep it interesting, but not too interesting.

  1. Michael,
How about posting some tips for posting that you would use if you were coaching younger students such as those in middle school.

  2. That is something I always struggle with everytime I think about blogging--- I have a lot of ideas (and opinions!) and I can't help but think everyone can read it (it is like a reality show!). It seems voyeuristic to me in some ways...like a public diary. I grew up in the 80s when girls all had diaries and they were VERY private!

  3. Some tips I would use if I was coaching middle school kids would probably center around getting them to talk about football. They all watch football games on tv and have thoughts or questions. I think a blog would be a good way to help answer their questions and also to create new ones. I could also post information to help them learn. I have found that videos and pictures are very helpful in getting athletes to understand what the correct way to do things looks like.

  4. Michael,
I am referring to creating a list of safety tips about blogging that you would use with younger students. There are many tips in the article you had to read fro mod 2. Please choose and post some tips from the article or from your text.
